How to know if you have Termites?:
- Damaged Timber: You can see the hollowed-out piece of timber all eaten up by termites that usually sounds hollowed.
- Alates: Usually some species of termites reproduce simultaneously and disperse out new winged termites from nests to start new colonies. On a humid and warm temperature hundreds of termites leave nest at once, so it appears swarm of flying ants. If you spot these alates around, then it could be a sigh of termite infestation.
- Termite Leads: Termites are fragile insects and they don’t have many defense against predators, also require a moist and humid temperature to survive. To become safe when they are not inside the wood or underground, they build leads. These leads are made of mud and cellulose tubes that looks like small brown tubes.
